National Park Foundation
The National Park Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. Based in Washington, DC, the organization was founded in 1967 and has been tax-exempt since June 1981. The Foundation works to protect wildlife and park lands, preserve history and culture, educate and engage youth, and connect people everywhere to the wonder of parks through collaboration with the National Park Service, park partner communities, and donors.
