IN 1972, DISC VILLAGE RELOCATED TO WOODVILLE, FL AND ESTABLISHED ONE OF THE FIRST RESIDENTIAL THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT COMMUNITIES FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSING ADOLESCENTS IN THE STATE, SINCE 1972, DISC VILLAGE HAS CONSISTENTLY PROVIDED HIGH-QUALITY, INNOVATIVE SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES FOR TALLAHASSEE AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.TODAY, DISC VILLAGE OPERATES AS A MULTI-SITE COMMUNITY BASED CHILD WELFARE, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, DIVERSION AND SUBSTANCE USE/MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT CENTER THAT IS RECOGNIZED AS A LEADER IN THE STATE FOR INITIATING, MANAGING, AND COORDINATING DELINQUENCY AND SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION/INTERVENTION PROGRAM IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA.
