PROPERLY INSTALLED CAMERAS AND SURVEILLANCE WOULD NOT ONLY INCREASE THE SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS AND FACULTY AT THE SCHOOL, BUT ALSO THAT OF OUR IMMEDIATE NEIGHBORS AND OTHERS WITHIN THIS WALKABLE NEIGHBORHOOD. LIGHTING AROUND THE SCHOOL WOULD ALSO INCREASE SAFETY IN AND AROUND THE BUILDING, AS WELL-LIT PARKING AREAS AND ENTRYWAYS DETER INTRUDERS AND ASSAILANTS. LIKEWISE, THE ADDITION OF BADGE SCANNERS AT SOME OF OUR ENTRANCES AND SECURITY FENCING THAT INCLUDES A BADGE SCANNER, WOULD MAKE OUTDOOR SPACES SAFER, AND WOULD ALSO REDUCE THE LIKELIHOOD OF SOMEONE PROPPING A DOOR OPEN FOR CONVENIENCE, WHICH COMPROMISES THE SAFETY OF THE BUILDING.$100,000
