DIGITIZATION OF THESE MATERIALS WILL REDUCE THEIR NEED TO BE HANDLED REGULARLY, CONTRIBUTING TO THEIR LONG-TERM PRESERVATION, AS WELL AS MAKING THEM MORE WIDELY AVAILABLE TO MUSEUM VISITORS AROUND THE WORLD.
