YTAC Summer Internship Program

Program Type: Two-week, full-time, paid summer internship for high school students

Geographic Scope: Charlotte and Wilmington, North Carolina

Target Audience: High school students interested in fintech and STEM

Key Features:

Compensation: $9.50 per hour

Duration: 2 weeks, full-time in summer (historically July 19-30)

Schedule: 6 hours per day (9 AM-12 PM & 1-4 PM with 1-hour lunch break)

Total Stipend: $570.00

In-person, structured instruction

Program Curriculum:
1. Understanding assigned fintech firm - products, services, and clientele
2. Completion of user experience (UX) whitepaper from Gen Z consumer perspective
3. Programming and STEM skills application to create proof-of-concept project aligned with firm's mission, incorporating UX feedback

Deliverables:

Personal project demonstrating technical skills gained

Internship experience with leading fintech firm

Stipend of $570.00
