Overview

Norte's scholarship program provides full and partial scholarships to families requesting financial assistance to participate in youth cycling programs. The program is designed to ensure equitable access to all Norte programs regardless of financial situation.

Key Details

• Philosophy: "No bike? No problem." Scholarships cover program costs and the organization provides bikes through their bike library for riders who need them
• Award Frequency: Awards are made monthly as funds are available
• Eligibility: One scholarship spot is held on every team from each program for scholarship recipients
• Award Limitations: Children are eligible to receive one scholarship per season. Previously awarded scholarship funds are considered when determining future allocations
• Consideration Factors: The scholarship committee reviews applications considering program locations, grade level availability, and rider requests
• Reapplication: If a scholarship need goes unmet during one month, families may reapply the following month
