Woodlands’ Families Scholarship ($2,900) This renewable scholarship is available to students who are descendants of the enslaved families of the former Woodlands Plantation in Bamberg County, South Carolina.

Eligibility

If there are no applicants available that are descendants of enslaved families of Woodlands Plantation, the scholarship may be awarded to a student from Bamberg County who meets all other criteria. The scholarships are only available for students who will be enrolled in an institution of higher education for the upcoming school year that starts in August. You may apply during your senior year.
