Women’s 5K Classic Grants

The Women’s 5K Classic Grants fund initiatives that educate and support women in preventing Breast and Gynecologic cancers while promoting fitness. Grants support low-cost fitness programs, educational initiatives, and research efforts aimed at improving women's health and well-being, benefiting the community significantly.

The Women’s 5K supports programs which educate, support and help prevent all Breast and Gynecologic (cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, & vulvar) female cancers and also those programs that promote fitness among women. We welcome grant proposals from any Lehigh Valley non-profit agency whose mission also supports this philosophy.
The Women’s 5K Classic (W5K) began in 1993 for the purpose of promoting fitness among women.
W5K Funding Priorities
FITNESS: Support no or low-cost programs that promote women’s fitness and encourage women to engage in running, walking, and other physical activities that support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.EDUCATE, SUPPORT AND PREVENT: Support no or low-cost programs that educate and support women with Breast and Gynecologic female cancers and programs that are focused on their prevention.RESEARCH: Help fund research to treat and prevent Breast and Gynecologic female cancers.
