Overview

Women in STEM Scholarship

Overview: Scholarship designed to support women pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields. Zonta Club of Denver believes in equal opportunities for women with thriving careers in STEM and access to leadership roles.

Geographic Scope: Zonta International District 12 (Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota); online students eligible if enrolled at accredited institutions

Award Amount:

Club level: $1,000

District level: up to $5,000 additional

Eligible Fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) degree programs per U.S. ICE STEM List

Use of Funds: Tuition, books, or living expenses

Eligibility:

Women of any age and nationality

Pursuing STEM degree at accredited university, college, or institute

Demonstrate outstanding potential in the field

Living or studying in a Zonta district/region

Academic Level: Enrolled in at least second year of undergraduate program through final year of master's program at time of application submission

Must be enrolled in school when scholarship funds are disbursed

Ineligible: Classified members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation, and their family members
