About Students majoring in chemistry at Western Michigan University may prepare for a career in industry, teaching or graduate study in chemistry, biochemistry, medicine and dentistry or pharmaceuticals. Stanley Memorial Chemistry Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1996 by the family of Frederick Stanley. Stanley received his B.S. and M.S. degrees at WMU in chemistry.
