Scholarships More than 200 students throughout north central Wisconsin, from pre-school to post-graduate, will be awarded scholarships totaling more than $300,000 from the 125 endowed scholarship funds administered within the Community Foundation. Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame Scholarships Purpose To provide scholarships to residents of Wisconsin wishing to pursue an education and career in the aviation or aerospace field – at any point in their educational journey. Scholarship awards include the: Jeff Baum Aviation Business & Jim Quinn Flight School Scholarship EAA Chapter 640/Robert Payzer Memorial Scholarship Carl Guell Memorial Scholarship Sidney & Ruth Julson Scholarship Thiessen Field Scholarships The Sidney & Ruth Julson Scholarship was established in 2023 to honor Sidney & Ruth Julson who owned Four Lakes Aviation in Madison, WI for many years before moving to Buffalo, WY. The scholarship provides a $2,000 annual award to deserving students enrolled in the Madison Area Technical College/Wisconsin Aviation flight school program or the Buffalo, WY or Sheridan, WY flight school program.
