Windsor Rotary Student Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements

School/Residency Requirements:

  • Attend Windsor High School, North Bay Met Academy, Windsor Oaks Academy, OR

  • Reside in Windsor, CA and are enrolled in an equivalently accredited school
  • Academic Requirements:

  • Eligible for graduation from current school

  • Must be accepted and enrolled in an accredited program to receive funds:

  • - Two-year junior college
    - Four-year college
    - Trade skill program
    - Career certificate program

    Character/Service Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the Rotary ideal of "service above self" through family, school, and community involvement

  • School and community service, citizenship, and leadership will be considered in award decisions

    • If awarded, scholarship must be used within ONE YEAR from award date

    How to Apply

    Application Requirements

    Applications missing any of the required items will be deemed incomplete and will not be evaluated.

    Required Materials:
    1. Activity Chart - Complete an activity chart (template provided with application)
    2. Essay - One-page (single spaced) typed essay on the topic: "A hurdle(s) or challenge(s) you have had to overcome, and how you dealt with that challenge."
    3. Official High School Transcript - Current/official transcript from your school
    4. Letters of Recommendation - Two letters required:
    - One from a school employee (teacher, counselor, or administrator)
    - One from a community member or family member
    5. Application Form - Complete the scholarship application form (available as PDF download)

    Submission Process

    1. Download the Scholarship Application form from the website
    2. Complete all required materials as listed above
    3. Submit completed package (specific submission instructions provided on application form)
