Eligibility:

• Volunteer Fire Departments (VFDs) only
• VFDs can apply every 12 months

Geographic Scope: 18 Texas counties and 6 Oklahoma counties:

• Texas Counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, Young, Childress, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Haskell, Jack, King, Knox, Stonewall, Throckmorton
• Oklahoma Counties: Comanche, Cotton, Jackson, Jefferson, Stephens, Tillman

Award Distribution:

• Awards made via ACH Direct Deposit

Application Process

1. Letter of Intent: NOT required for Volunteer Fire Department Grant Cycle
2. Access Application Forms: Available at https://www.wfacf.org/vfd-application-forms/
3. Submission: Application Signature Page required
4. Review Cycle: Applications reviewed by Grant Committee members with recommendations made to Board of Directors
5. Award Notification: Once awards approved by Board of Directors, notification letters emailed to applicants
6. Technical Requirements:
