Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation The Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation is a not-for-profit philanthropic institution organized and operated primarily as a collection of charitable funds that will have long term benefit for the Wichita Falls area. These funds are used wisely and efficiently to respond to area needs and to sustain existing organizations and institutions through grants in many areas, including arts, culture, education, environment, historic preservation, health, and human services. Mission To promote philanthropy; to provide charitable opportunities; to facilitate donors’ interests; and to leave a legacy for future generations Grant Policies Grants are awarded for such charitable, benevolent, civic, moral, religious, environmental, and educational uses and proposes that will most effectively assist, encourage, and promote the well-being of mankind whether supported wholly or in part by private donations or by taxation.Eligibility

In compliance with Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation’s Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, grants are awardedto 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and other charitable activities/projects that relieve government of duty.at the discretion of the WFACF Board of Directors to assist, encourage and promote the well being of mankind, regardless of race, creed, national origin or gender.You must have an office located within the following North Texas Counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, or Young.Ineligibility
The following is a list of restrictions that apply to WFACF grants:Grants are not made to political candidates or for lobbying efforts. Grants are not made to private non-operating foundations. Grants are not made to individuals. Grants are not made to organizations or supporting organizations that are controlled by the donor or donor appointee. Grants are not made to Type III Support Organizations that are not functionally integrated.
