Geographic Scope: Northside youth and West Broadway corridor businesses

Target Audience: Northside youth seeking career development and skill-building

Program Overview: Connects young people to meaningful career pathways, equips them with skills and experience, and matches them with local WBC member businesses for paid internships

Program Structure

Phase 1: Training (6 weeks)

Professional soft skills development

Emotional intelligence and workplace communication

Résumé creation and digital portfolios

Interview preparation and mock interviews

Career exploration and industry insights from local leaders

Phase 2: Paid Internship (10 weeks)

Hands-on, practical work experience with trusted WBC member businesses

Real work environment exposure

Long-term relationship building between youth and employers

Intentional matching with businesses aligned to youth interests and skills
