Our Story We Are Moving The Needle is breaking barriers to make studios a place where all creators can thrive. We’re not a women’s organization, we’re an organization for change, addressing the barriers to a stronger, more vibrant music industry. We champion women, trans, and non-binary creators, and all those disproportionately impacted by inequities. Through scholarships, mentorship, research, and advocacy, we provide resources, data, and solutions to shift industry culture and drive lasting change. Together, we are moving the needle. We Are Moving The Needle Scholarship We Are Moving The Needle is proud to continue our collaboration with Mix With The Masters to offer two full scholarships to Alissia’s 2-day masterclass at Rue Boyer Studios in Paris, France! Join GRAMMY nominated producer, writer, and multi-instrumentalist Alissia for an exclusive two-day production masterclass. A tastemaker in every sense of the word, Alissia has been pulled in to work with artists including Anderson .Paak, Mary J. Blige, Nile Rodgers, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris, EarthGang, BJ The Chicago Kid, Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, Cee-Lo Green, Musiq Soulchild, Mark Ronson, Baby Rose, Daniel Caesar, Doug E Fresh and many others. She was recently GRAMMY nominated for Producer of the Year, and is one of only a handful of women to ever receive that nomination. She was previously GRAMMY nominated in several categories, including Album of the Year and Best R&B Album as a producer for Mary J. Blige. Participants will join Alissia at Mix With The Masters’ Rue Boyer Studios in Paris, France, where she will host a series of practical workshops and studio sessions designed to elevate your production to the next level.Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded in alignment with We Are Moving The Needle’s mission to empower women, trans, and non-binary creators in the music industry with a demonstrated commitment to production and engineering.This scholarship covers the full masterclass tuition. Award recipients will be responsible for their own meals, travel and lodging.Scholarship applicants will be reviewed for:Overall fit with the Mix With The Masters Program and demonstrated learning goals, 2) Alignment with We Are Moving The Needle’s scholarship qualifications (stated above), 3) Clearly defined goals and demonstrated commitment to work in the field that would benefit from this opportunity.In compliance with industry standards, We Are Moving The Needle expects that written materials and work samples have meaningful contribution from the applicant.
