Overview

Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin Guided by our vision, purpose, mission, values, and policies, we inspire philanthropic generosity to enhance our community’s quality of life.. Scholarships More than 200 students throughout north central Wisconsin, from pre-school to post-graduate, will be awarded scholarships totaling more than $300,000 from the 125 endowed scholarship funds administered within the Community Foundation. Wausau Area H.O.P.E. Hmong Women Scholarship Purpose of the Fund The Wausau Area H.O.P.E Hmong Women Scholarship was established by the H.O.P.E. (Hmong Organization for the Promise of Enrichment) Women to award scholarships to able and deserving minority women based on scholastic ability, personal integrity, and evidence of desire to better the community. The scholarships are open to Hmong women who are residents of the greater Wausau area. High school graduating seniors and currently enrolled college students are eligible to apply. Applications from high school students will be evaluated separately from those of college students.
