Guided by our vision, purpose, mission, values, and policies, we inspire philanthropic generosity to enhance our community’s quality of life. Scholarships More than 200 students throughout north central Wisconsin, from pre-school to post-graduate, will be awarded scholarships totaling more than $300,000 from the 125 endowed scholarship funds administered within the Community Foundation. Rotary Club of Wausau Scholarship The Rotary Club of Wausau Scholarship Fund, which is administered within the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, has been endowed through the collective donations of members of the Wausau Rotary Club and a generous matching gift by an anonymous donor. The fund is designed to award up to five scholarships annually in the amount of $1,000. Awards are based on two qualification criteria: Demonstrated involvement in community service, and Leadership This criterion is the foundation of Rotary International as captured in the Rotary motto: “Service Above Self.” Scholarship awards may be used by the recipient at any accredited, post-secondary educational entity.Eligibility
