Overview

Vocational Incentive Program (VIP)

Purpose: Provides financial support for UA graduates who choose a non-traditional career path through technical or trade programs. The program reduces the burden of expenses (tuition and fees, books and supplies, transportation, personal items, etc.) and rewards alumni for their persistence in vocational trade programs.

Geographic Scope: University Academy alumni (Kansas City, MO area)

Eligibility:

Graduates of University Academy

Enrolled in a technical or trade program at a specialized school

Award Amounts:

At Time of Enrollment: $200 for enrollment verification

At Graduation: $250 one-time award for program completion

Application Process Steps:
1. Complete the online application
2. Send required documents to maya@uafoundationkc.org
3. Provide official program schedule or verification of enrollment for current/upcoming term
4. Provide transcript or certificate of completion at end of program

Important Reminders:

Awards will be mailed on a rolling basis

All awards sent via USPS

Pick-up in person available upon request to ASP Director
