Visionary Women Grants

Funder: Visionary Women (CA, US)

Mission: Visionary Women supports nonprofit organizations and initiatives that advance the status of women and girls in the Greater LA area.

Award Amount: Typically between $10,000 and $30,000. Each application is reviewed individually to align funding with the project's potential and needs.

Geographic Scope: Greater Los Angeles area only

Eligibility Requirements

• Organization must have 501(c)(3) status
• Organization has been operational for at least three years and has annual revenues of $500,000 or more
• Organization or program operates in the greater Los Angeles area
• Organization or program serves a population that is at least 75% women/girls, or who identify as women/girls
• Program must be non-sectarian
• Organization must be consistent with and furthers the mission of Visionary Women
• Proposed grant must support a specific program or initiative focused on at least one of the funding areas of focus listed above
• No organization may receive more than one grant in a calendar year
• If an organization has been funded for 3 consecutive years, they are ineligible to apply for a period of 2 years following the end of the last grant period

Grant Process

Visionary Women's grant process includes two steps:
1. Organizations submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to confirm eligibility
2. Selected applicants are then invited to complete a full application for funding consideration

Spring 2026 Cycle Timeline

• Application Opens: March 9, 2026
• Application Deadline: April 13, 2026
• Decision Notifications: May 15, 2026
