VIA Fund Law Student Scholarships

Funder: HNBA VIA (Vision in Action) Fund

Purpose: Awarded to benefit underserved law students in the United States and its territories.

Eligibility:

  • Underserved law students

  • Open regardless of immigration status

  • Recipients must be in good academic standing

  • Must demonstrate financial need

  • Must show strong commitment to leadership and service within the legal profession
  • Eligible Uses:

  • Tuition

  • Books and fees

  • Living expenses
  • Application Timeline:

  • Call for applications sent out in July

  • Winners announced in September each year
  • Geographic Scope: United States and its territories

    Background: The HNBA VIA Fund is committed to supporting the educational and professional advancement of law students who face financial and structural barriers to success. One hundred percent (100%) of scholarship funds go directly to students to help offset the high costs of law school, bar preparation, and essential living expenses.
