Uncommon Artist Residency Grant

The Uncommon Artist Residency at Teton Artlab offers artists 1-3 weeks of free accommodations at The Anvil Hotel in Jackson, Wyoming, alongside a weekly stipend of $200 and $200 in dining credits. Located near Grand Teton National Park, this program encourages artists to engage with the community through public talks or demonstrations. Participants will have access to shared studio spaces for various artistic practices, fostering creativity and collaboration in a stunning natural environment.

Teton Artlab has supported exceptional artists with the creation of new work through artist residencies.
Right next to Grand Teton National Park, the town of Jackson, Wyoming is a stunning jewel in the Rockies. Each Artist In Residence will receive 1-3 weeks of complimentary accommodations at The Anvil Hotel in downtown Jackson, $200/week cash stipend and $200 in dining credits at Glorietta Trattoria, the hotel’s onsite Italian restaurant. Artists have access to nearby shared studio spaces for ceramics, printmaking, photography, and more at Center for the Arts but no private space is available at this time.
