UGLA Bill Bailey Matching Funds Program

Funder: Uptown Gay & Lesbian Alliance Inc (UGLA)

Overview: One of UGLA's most important community outreach initiatives. UGLA members can direct their charitable donations through the organization, and upon Board vote, UGLA matches the member's donation and sends double the amount to the designated charitable organization.

How It Works:

UGLA member identifies their favorite charity

Member sends their donation to UGLA

Upon UGLA Board vote, UGLA matches the member's donation

UGLA sends a check for double the member's donation to the charitable organization

Eligible Organizations: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

Geographic Scope: National and international organizations
