Overview: For the third consecutive year, the program provides $1.5 million to fund STEM learning projects in classrooms and schools in TVA's seven-state service area.

Geographic Scope

• TVA's seven-state service area
• Schools served by Local Power Companies (LPCs) served by TVA

Focus Areas

• Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education
• Preference given to projects addressing:
- Environment - Energy - Economic and career development - Community problem-solving

Eligibility

• K-12 teachers at public and private schools
• School administrators at public and private schools
• Schools in TVA service area served by LPC served by TVA

Award Information

• Total funding available: $1.5 million
• Individual awards: Up to $5,000
• Last cycle (2024-25): 342 awards made, impacting 132,000+ students
• Since 2018: Nearly $8 million awarded supporting 730,000+ students
