Tristate Graduate Center Scholarship Grant

The Tristate Graduate Center Scholarship, managed by the Siouxland Community Foundation, supports non-traditional students in the Siouxland area pursuing a Master of Social Work. Established in 2015, this scholarship aims to enhance educational opportunities for individuals attending accredited institutions within 100 miles of Sioux City, IA, ensuring they meet a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5. The program reflects the foundation's commitment to improving the community's quality of life through educational advancement.

The Siouxland Community Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life in the greater Siouxland tri-state area by seeking charitable gifts to build permanent endowments as charitable capital for the community, providing a flexible vehicle to receive and distribute gifts of any size, making grants in response to community needs, and providing services that will help shape the well-being of Siouxland.
BACKGROUND: The Tristate Graduate Center Scholarship is administered by the Siouxland Community Foundation headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa. This scholarship fund was established in 2015 from the Tristate Graduate Center endowment fund upon the Center’s dissolution.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the scholarship program is to assist Siouxland area non-traditional students that are enrolled in a Master of Social Work program.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a Siouxland area college/university non-traditional student enrolled in a MSW program at or through an accredited college/university within a 100 mile radius of Sioux City, IA. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) in college.
