Tribal Carbon Offset Assistance Program grants The Tribal Carbon Offset Assistance Grant program supports Tribal development of carbon offset projects on federally recognized Tribal lands in Washington. Through the Climate Commitment Act, a total of $5 million was available for this competitive grant program in the 2021-23 and 2023-25 biennia. $5 million has been proposed for the 2025-27 biennium, pending legislative approval.
