Tribal Climate Capacity Grants Tribal Climate Capacity Grants provide support for federally recognized Tribes with lands and territories in Washington State to engage in a range of climate-related activities, including developing Tribal clean energy projects; consulting on Climate Commitment Act (CCA) spending decisions; engaging in clean energy siting processes; applying for state or federal grant funding; and activities supporting climate resilience and adaptation. The Tribal Climate Capacity Grant program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-Invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
