Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation: Junior Scholarship Grant

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation offers a Junior Scholarship of $1,000 to enrolled citizens attending higher education institutions. The program aims to promote self-sufficiency and community participation among Muscogee (Creek) Nation citizens. Applicants must submit a completed application, proof of citizenship, a personal essay, educational records, an acceptance letter, and any supporting documents. This initiative supports the growth and prosperity of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation communities.

The central purpose and role of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program established by the Muscogee (Creek) National Council is to promote self-sufficiency, proactive community participation, self-reliance, self-determination, tribal sovereignty, and a sustainable future for Muscogee (Creek) Nation citizens through traditional gift-giving and support of academic scholarship, community initiatives, and research that benefit the growth and prosperity of Muscogee (Creek) Nation communities. The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program is a Muscogee (Creek) Nation tribal government non-profit program qualified under Section 7871(a) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. All contributions to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Eligibility

Must be an enrolled citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Must be currently attending an institution of higher education or enrolled as a first-time entering student.
Must agree to authorize the Scholarship Foundation Program to publicize the scholarship award if selected.Students may submit one application per semester.Required Documents -In order to be considered for a scholarship please submit the following:Completed Scholarship Application Form
Personal essay
Educational records: Official high school transcript or GED certificate, or most recent college transcript.
College admissions acceptance letter.
Any supporting documents: Certifications, awards, letters of recommendation, financial aid, etc.
