Purpose: Supports education students with financial need at Shepherd University.

Established: Endowed scholarship established in 1999 by John T. Reynolds to honor his father, T. Guy Reynolds, Jr., a 1933 Shepherd University graduate and Outstanding Alumnus (2006).

Recent Gift: $222,000 estate gift received from T. Guy Reynolds' estate in 2015, which was added to and increased the endowment.

  • Chairman of West Virginia State Aeronautics Commission (2 terms)

  • Received Congressional Gold Medal in December 2014

  • Berkeley County Citizen of the Year

  • Passed away January 21, 2015, at age 103
