Overview
The FamilieSCN2A Hodgkin-Huxley Research Grant honors the pioneering work of Dr. Alan Hodgkin and Dr. Andrew Huxley in neuroscience. This grant encourages innovative research, especially novel therapeutic approaches for sodium channel disorders, as well as the development of SCN2A biomarkers and clinical trial endpoints. Applications are accepted year-round, with priority given to groundbreaking projects that can significantly advance the understanding and treatment of related conditions.
NOTE: Unsolicited, year-round LOIs accepted. Full application invitations on a rolling basis as long as funds are available.
Formerly known as the Hodgkin-Huxley Grant, the goal of this program is to address fundamental gaps in the basic and translational science of SCN2A-related disorders (SRDs) and to accelerate the development of therapies to clinical trials.
