The Innovation Award (in memory of Tony English)

Program Focus: High school senior scholarship

Eligibility:

• High school seniors
• Demonstrating excellence in innovating solutions to difficult yet impactful problems
• Similar qualities to Tony English (innovator and problem-solver)

Award Description:
This scholarship honors high school seniors who excel in creating innovative solutions to challenging and impactful problems. The award recognizes students who demonstrate:

• Innovation mindset and capability
• Problem-solving ability
• Impact orientation
• Leadership in motivating others to innovate

Application Components:
Three essay questions addressing:

1. Why you innovate
2. An example of an innovation you are particularly proud of
3. How you motivate others to innovate

Application Process

1. Parent or guardian must complete application (not the student)
2. Answer three essay questions:
   • Explain why you innovate
   • Provide an example (essay format) of an innovation you are particularly proud of
   • Describe how you motivate others to innovate
3. Submit application through online form
