Program Focus: FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) financial assistance

Geographic Scope: Colorado

Eligibility:

• FRC teams experiencing extreme financial hardship
• Teams needing assistance to attend KCMT (Kansas City Metropolitan/regional competition)
• Any FRC team in Colorado

Funding Purpose:
Provides financial assistance to teams facing extreme hardship that may prevent them from competing. Assistance can support travel, registration, and other competition-related expenses.

Application Process:
Teams can submit a request form explaining their financial situation and how support would enable their participation.

Application Process

1. Complete the KCMT Grant Support Request Form
2. Provide the following information:
   • Team number
   • Mentor name
   • Email address
   • Detailed description of type of help needed
   • How Colorado FIRST can help
   • Confirmation of whether receiving support would enable team attendance at KCMT
3. Submit form through online portal
4. Colorado FIRST will review and respond as soon as possible
