The Edward Jones Scholarship Grant

The Edward Jones Scholarship, offered by The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, provides $12,000 annually to low-income students engaged with youth development agencies. This renewable scholarship aims to support those demonstrating financial need, with eligibility criteria including a minimum 2.0 GPA and residency in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

A St. Louis institution, Edward Jones is committed to having a positive community impact, especially regarding the potential of young people. The Edward Jones Scholarship is a $12,000 renewable, annual grant for low-income students who are active participants with any of the following youth development agencies:

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri
• Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis
• Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis
• Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School
• College Bound-St. Louis
• Girls Inc. of St. Louis
• LifeWise StL

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:Demonstrate significant financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or similar need calculations. Applicants with a Student Aid Index (SAI) over $17,500 must have significant and extenuating circumstances to be considered.
Have achieved a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average
Plan to attend an accredited, nonprofit college or university
Be seeking a first technical, associate, or bachelor’s degree
Be a resident of the St. Louis metropolitan area (City of St. Louis and St. Louis County; Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, and Warren counties in Missouri; and, the Illinois counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair). Additionally, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri participants who reside in the Missouri counties of Cape Girardeau and Scott are also eligible to apply.

Ineligibility

Ministry and divinity degrees, are ineligible for funding.
