The Cape Cod Artist Scholarship, offered by the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM), supports local artists residing year-round on Cape Cod. This scholarship facilitates access to workshops in various media, honoring notable PAAM family members and encouraging artistic expression. With no age restrictions, artists in painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed media are invited to apply. PAAM aims to promote education in the arts and enrich the community through its vibrant arts programming.

Provincetown Art Association and Museum
Integral to the community comprising the Provincetown Art Colony, PAAM embodies the qualities that make Provincetown an enduring American center for the arts, and serves as Cape Cod’s most widely-attended art museum.
As interest in the region’s contribution to American art history continues to grow, PAAM presents an ever-changing lineup of exhibitions, lectures, workshops and cultural events that seek to promote and cultivate appreciation for all branches of the fine arts for which Provincetown is known.
Scholarships
PAAM offers two scholarships opportunities for taking a workshop in our Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Museum School.
Scholarships like these help PAAM fulfil its mission of promoting education of the public in the arts. Workshops at PAAM are offered year-round and are taught by local teaching artists whose work is rooted in the culture and legacy of Provincetown.
The Cape Cod Artist’s Scholarship
The Cape Cod Artist’s Scholarship is offered to local artists who reside on Cape Cod year-round.
It honors significant members of the PAAM family and is supported through generous donations. The scholarship, which underwrites a PAAM workshop, is open to all types of media. Painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, and mixed media artists are encouraged to apply. There is no age restriction.
