Teacher Completion Grants

Purpose: Support students in the final stages of Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework and help them overcome financial obstacles to obtaining credentials needed to join the early childhood profession.

Geographic Scope: Cincinnati, OH area

Target Audience: Students at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College pursuing ECE degree

Program Details:

• Partnership between Cincinnati Preschool Promise and Cincinnati State Technical & Community College Foundation
• Stipend provided to eligible students
• Students gain hands-on experience at a CPP preschool site
• Goal: Secure permanent employment in early childhood education upon completion
• Hands-on experience at CPP preschool sites during coursework

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a student at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College
• Must be in the final stages of Early Childhood Education coursework
• Must meet requirements outlined in official program guidelines

Application Status: CLOSED APPLICATION PROCESS - Students must meet specific requirements outlined by the program and work through Cincinnati State Technical & Community College

Background: Addresses workforce challenges in early childhood education by supporting pipeline of new educators.
