Tacoma Elks Lodge 174 Local Scholarships

Geographic Scope: Tacoma, Washington area

Focus Areas: Undergraduate study

Eligibility:

• High school seniors
• Undergraduate students (renewals)

Program Details:

• Duration: Can be used up to four years
• Application Period: Usually between November and March of the student's senior year of high school
• Renewals: Also completed between November and March
• Payment: Checks are paid directly to the school

Payment Process:

1. Student must present their Letter of Scholarship Acceptance to the college Registrar
2. Registrar sends Verification of Enrollment to Tacoma Elks office
3. Elks office sends payment and notifies student when check is mailed
4. Student is responsible for following up on all matters relating to their scholarship
