Overview: The Spokane Ag Show is committed to the protection and promotion of jobs and investments in agriculture and related industries. The scholarship program provides funding for the next generation of agricultural professionals to grow through exposure to industry pathways.

• Award Amount: Four individual scholarships of $2,500 each
• Payment Method: Checks paid directly to colleges, universities, and trade schools

• Eligible Region: Inland Northwest agricultural/farm families

Eligibility

• Target Audience: Active Inland Northwest agricultural/farm families and their children
• Grade Level: High school seniors
• Dependency: Must still be claimed as legal dependents
• Academic Focus: Planning to study agriculture-related fields
• Post-Secondary Intent: Planning on post-secondary education at colleges, universities, or trade schools

Selection Criteria

• Official transcript and grades: 15%
• Essay: 30%
• Video: 50%
• Two letters of recommendation: 5%

Timeline

• Application Deadline: December 15
• Selection Committee Meeting: January (after closing date)
• Award Ceremony: February 5 at the Ag Show FFA program
