Geographic Scope: Massachusetts residents only

Award Amount: $500 per scholarship

Purpose: Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in valid/accredited Land Surveying Certificate Programs

Program Background

The MALSCE Education Trust was founded to enhance the profession of land surveying and civil engineering in Massachusetts by providing scholarship and education grants for students of land surveying and civil engineering who are Massachusetts residents.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be accepted in a Survey Certificate Program in an accredited school (online or in-person)
• Must be a Massachusetts resident
• Must have completed 3 credit hours in the Certificate Program
• Must submit a completed application
• Must submit a letter of recommendation from a qualified sponsor
• Must submit official school transcript(s) of all available grades

Sponsor Requirements

• Sponsor must be a department head, dean, professor, or teacher with personal knowledge of applicant
• An applicant's employer may also be a sponsor
• Friends and relatives cannot be sponsors
• Sponsor must forward completed application with letter of recommendation to MALSCE Education Trust Chair
