Student Legacy Scholarships

Funder: Redondo Beach Educational Foundation (RBEF)

Geographic Scope: Redondo Beach Unified School District, California

Award: Three (3) annual scholarships of $1,000 each

Overview: The RBEF Legacy Scholarships recognize and support outstanding graduating seniors from Redondo Union High School (RUHS) or Patricia Dreizler High School who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to post-secondary education and community service.

Eligibility Requirements

• School Attendance: Must have attended RUHS or Dreizler for all four (4) years of high school
• GPA: 3.5 or higher (unweighted)
• Post-Secondary Plans: Must be planning to attend a 4-year university, 2-year community college, or trade school in the fall
• Community Service: Minimum two (2) years of community service or volunteer work
• Leadership: Must have served in a leadership role in:
- Extra-curricular activities at school - Community activities - Athletics
