Strategic Collaborations

Purpose: Led by a collaborative group including the Foundation to find ways to improve or streamline community services. Foundation investments may include significant funding or extensive staff time for research and development.

Characteristics

• Multi-year: Programs typically take several years to get off the ground
• Funded for Multiple Years: May receive ongoing support during development
• Typically Invited Proposals: Not open for general applications
• Self-sustaining Goal: Ultimately designed to run independently
• Evaluation: Processes evaluated and refined over time

Strategic Alignment

• Directly linked to the Foundation's strategic goals
• Part of 2024-2026 Strategic Plan implementation

Geographic Scope

• Primary: Stark County, Ohio
• Secondary: Carroll, Holmes, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties in Ohio

Application Process

Strategic Collaborations are typically invited proposals only. Organizations cannot apply directly; they are identified and invited to participate by the Foundation.
