Overview

Supports communities in developing and strengthening effective criminal justice strategies to address violent crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence, and the development and enhancement of victim services. The 2013 Reauthorization specifies allocation requirements: minimum 25% to law enforcement, 25% to prosecution, 5% to courts, 30% to nonprofit victim services (10% to culturally specific organizations), and 15% discretionary.
