Overview
The first federal funding stream solely dedicated to direct intervention and related assistance for victims of sexual assault. Directs grant dollars to states and territories to support rape crisis centers and nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations or tribal programs providing services to victims of sexual assault.
Idaho's SASP funding provides intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, and support services for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, family and household members of victims, and those collaterally affected by sexual assault. Funds supplement other funding sources addressing sexual assault.
