  • In Arizona, congenital syphilis cases rose more than sevenfold from 2016-2020, making Arizona second worst in nation

  • Arizona's STI rates ranked 15th for gonorrhea and chlamydia in 2020, 6th for primary and secondary syphilis

    • Services Provided:

  • Low or no-cost syphilis testing and treatment to all clients

  • Additional funding for uninsured male and female clients ages 34 and younger

  • Part of STI Screening Project, collaboration between AFHP-funded health centers and ADHS
