Note: Payments will not be processed until your acceptance form is completed and submitted. The Community Foundation of Abilene is home to more than 150 scholarship funds. Through the generosity of our donors, the Foundation is privileged to offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors, currently enrolled undergraduates, graduate students, non-traditional students, and those pursuing trade certifications. The Foundation’s scholarship process provides students access to scholarships with awards ranging from $500 to more than $5,000. Stanley and Claudie Wilson Scholarship The Stanley and Claudie Wilson Scholarship was established to assist deserving young people from the Abilene area (Taylor County and adjoining counties) who wish to attend college. This scholarship will give preference to students desiring to prepare for a legal or literary career. Special consideration may be granted to students planning to attend The University of North Texas, The University of Texas at Austin, Rice University, Trinity University, UCLA or the Julliard School, although all students are encouraged to apply. Scholarship award payments are sent directly to the educational institutions in August (fall semester) and, if applicable, in January (spring semester).

Graduate of a high school from one of the following counties – Callahan, Coleman, Fisher, Jones, Runnels, Shackleford or Taylor Must be in the top 20% of your graduating class or have at least a 3.0 gpa in your most recent college semster
