Overview

Staenberg Family Foundation Anything Grants™

Overview: Broad range of support for Jewish organizations and synagogues. Funded by Michael Staenberg and the Staenberg Family Foundation.

Geographic Scope: Omaha, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs metro area

Eligibility:

  • Jewish non-profit agencies, organizations, or synagogues only

  • No individuals or for-profit businesses

  • Must have 501(c)3 tax status

  • Located in Omaha, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs community

    • Grant Requirements:

  • Grant range: $1,000 to $5,000

  • Project budget cannot exceed $10,000

  • Component parts of larger projects may be eligible

  • Request must be for 50% of projected program budget

  • Applicant must articulate how the other 50% will be raised

  • Grantees must provide evidence of matching funds raised

  • In-kind donations accepted as part of matching requirement

  • Request should not be part of a larger campaign

  • Preference for specific one-time needs

  • If for ongoing project, sustainability plan must be articulated

  • Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025

    2. Application components should include:
    - Project description and budget (cannot exceed $10,000)
    - How the requested 50% matches will be used
    - Plan for raising the required 50% match
    - For ongoing projects: sustainability plan
    - Evidence that project can be completed by June 30, 2025
