St. Anthony Educational Foundation Grants

Funder: St. Anthony Educational Foundation (SAEF)

Purpose: Funds for charitable and educational purposes to individuals and organizations

Focus Areas:

  • Literary, educational, or academic projects

  • Creative programs that further one's education

  • Programs or initiatives on campus or elsewhere

  • Initiatives that help promote educational opportunities for others
  • Eligible Applicants:

  • St. Anthony Hall members

  • Non-members
  • Geographic Scope: Primarily St. Anthony Hall chapters and affiliated institutions; national scope possible

    Program Types Supported:

  • Speakers and artists appearing on campuses (sponsored by local chapters and Foundation)

  • Educational grants for worthy projects involving members

  • On-site leadership training at chapters

  • Individual scholarship awards for outstanding achievements

  • Computer and A/V equipment and networking for local chapters

  • Leadership training for chapter officers at weekend seminars
  • Requirements:

  • All approved applications require submission of a brief final report upon project completion

  • Foundation withholds 10% of grant funds until final report is received and approved

  • Chapter endorsement required for St. Anthony Hall members

  • Letter of reference required for non-members

  • Winter Semester projects: Application due October 15, notification Mid-November

  • Spring Semester projects: Application due November 15, notification Early/Mid-January

  • Summer/Fall Semester projects: Application due March 15, notification Mid/Late May

    How to Apply

    Step 0: Prepare Materials
    1. Download the SAEF Grant Application Packet
    2. Download the SAEF Grant Timeline Form
    3. Download the SAEF Grant Budget Form
    4. Read all information and instructions in the Application Packet
    5. Note: Applications not consistent with instructions may not be funded

    Step 1: Complete Application

    A complete application must include:

  • Signed cover sheet

  • Application form

  • Timeline form

  • Budget form

  • Resume or CV

  • Chapter endorsement (required for St. Anthony Hall members) OR Letter of reference (required for non-members)
  • Create electronic versions of all supporting materials.

    Step 2: Upload Documents

    1. Use the upload portal to browse and upload files to Headquarters
    2. You may combine all documents into one electronic file OR upload multiple files
    3. If uploading multiple files, upload only one file per portal

    Step 3: Submit

    1. Enter the validation code at the bottom of the form
    2. Click submit
    3. You will receive an email confirmation after submission
    4. For technical difficulties, email Headquarters

    Timeline for Feedback:

  • Applicants may send draft proposals to committee members for feedback up to two weeks before deadline

  • Notification timeframes:

  • - Winter Semester (Oct 15 deadline): Mid-November notification
    - Spring Semester (Nov 15 deadline): Early/Mid-January notification
    - Summer/Fall (Mar 15 deadline): Mid/Late May notification

    Post-Award Requirements:

  • Submit brief final report upon project completion

  • Foundation withholds 10% of funds until final report is received and approved
