    Eligibility Requirements

  • Matriculated in a KVCC program of study
  • Maine resident, eligible for in-state tuition

  • Only enrolled in courses required for the KVCC program of study
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 1.9

    Award Details

  • Up to $75 per credit hour enrolled
  • Up to $750 per semester
  • Awards made available for only one semester
  • Based on final course enrollment after add/drop period
  • If recipient drops a course, scholarship is reduced
  • Adding a course does not guarantee scholarship increase

    Important Notes

  • Approval made on case-by-case basis
  • May not be possible due to lack of available funds, lack of student unmet need, and other academic/financial factors
  • Once student is determined eligible for Title IV financial aid, they will no longer be funded through this scholarship
  • Student must follow academic plan terms and appeal process to be considered for future financial aid eligibility
  • Student may apply for emergent need financial assistance if available (federal COVID emergency relief grants and/or KVCC Foundation Emergent Need Scholarship)
