Overview

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) offers Program Development Grants to support the initiatives of SWE Organizations. These micro-grants range from a minimum of $250 to a maximum of $5,000 and are available in three application cycles. To qualify, organizations must be in good standing, and the event must occur at least 45 days post-application deadline. Active SWE membership for the event manager and treasurer is also required for grant submission.

Micro-grants are available to support the strategic activities of SWE Organizations, i.e., Sections, MAL, Affiliates, SWENext, or Affinity Group (AG). (Funds may be allocated to events led by SWE Affinity Groups after HQ provided funding has been exhausted.)
Grant Amounts & Deadlines:

All grant requests must be at least $250, and $5,000 will be considered in three application cycles.
Event Timing:
Grants must occur a minimum of 45 days after the close of the application deadline.
Good Standing with SWE:

If you are a section, you must be in good standing to submit a PDG grant. This does not directly apply to global affiliates or affinity groups.
Budget and Financial Verification:
