Screening and Diagnostics Grants

The Breast Cancer Alliance offers Screening and Support Service Grants aimed at enhancing survival rates and quality of life for individuals affected by breast cancer. These grants specifically fund outreach programs that provide education, counseling, and diagnostic services for underserved populations in Connecticut and Westchester County, NY. The grant term lasts for one year, beginning April 1, 2026, supporting vital breast cancer screening and diagnostic services.

Breast Cancer Alliance raises money to provide four types of annual grants:
Exceptional Project ResearchYoung Investigator ResearchBreast Surgery FellowshipsScreening and Diagnostics GrantsThe term of the Screening and Diagnostics Grant is one calendar year beginning April 1, 2027.

Eligibility

We invite directors whose programs offer breast cancer services to underserved patients to apply for a Screening and Support Services Grant.The programs must be located in Connecticut and/or in Westchester County, New York.Funding is determined on an annual basis, per each grant cycle. Prior gift allocations do not guarantee future grants.

Ineligibility

Breast Cancer Alliance does not fund MRIs, patient counseling, patient navigation, office supplies, medical supplies, financial aid (i.e. gas bills, transportation, rent, overhead, grocery gift certificates, fringe benefits, etc.) printing costs, travel costs, marketing costs, recruitment costs or training programs.
