Overview: STARTedUP Foundation scholarship program for high school students, funded through partnerships with Indiana colleges, universities, and trade schools.

Geographic Scope: Indiana

Eligibility:

  • Indiana high school students

  • Students planning to attend Indiana colleges, universities, or trade schools

    • Funding:

  • $15 million in scholarships collected from 12 university partners and trade schools

  • More than $650,000 has been awarded to high school students to further their entrepreneurial endeavors

    • Connection to Other Programs:

  • Students become eligible for scholarships by participating in Innovate WithIN competition (just by submitting a pitch)

  • Part of broader STARTedUP Foundation educational ecosystem

  • 90% of STARTedUP students choose to remain in Indiana after graduation

    • Impact:

  • Foundation has worked with more than 10,000 students in 59 Indiana counties

  • Over 210 educators trained and supported

  • Partnerships with private sector companies to expand STEM education in rural and underserved areas
